Update the existing docguard community extension catalog entry for v0.40.5.

  • Updated the catalog description, version, tag-pinned download URL, command count, hook count, and timestamps.
  • Preserved the existing created_at, downloads, and stars values.
  • Updated the Community Extensions documentation row with the manifest description.

Validation results: extension ID and semver formats passed; the public repository exists and contains extension.yml, README.md, and LICENSE; the download URL is pinned to repository tag v0.40.5; the matching GitHub release and ZIP asset exist; the manifest declares 12 commands and 5 hooks; and all submission checklists are checked. The catalog JSON validates successfully.

Maintainer of the DocGuard extension here — thanks for picking this up.

One correction request while this is open: the description field is being carried over from the original v0.23.0-era entry and is factually wrong today. It reads:

... traces documentation against code — 27 validators, stable finding codes, ...

DocGuard ships 29 validators (the count of shipped cli/validators/*.mjs modules; it's now asserted in our test suite). This PR updates version and download_url but leaves that sentence, so the catalog would keep advertising a wrong number.

The submission issue (#4590) already carries the current description we'd like in the catalog, which drops the count entirely so it can't go stale again:

Documentation integrity for AI-assisted repositories: lifecycle registry, drift validation, traceability, safe archival, SARIF/JUnit, MCP, GitHub Actions, and Spec Kit hooks.

Also, purely FYI in case it's cheaper for you to land once instead of twice: v0.41.4 was released today, so if you'd rather point this at the current version:

  • version: 0.41.4
  • download_url: https://github.com/raccioly/docguard/releases/download/v0.41.4/spec-kit-docguard-v0.41.4.zip

Either version is fine by us — the description correction is the part that matters. Happy to open a fresh submission through the Extension Submission template instead if that fits your workflow better; just say the word and I won't clutter the queue.

Follow-up to keep this simple: I've updated the source issue #4590 to v0.41.4 (released today), so the submission of record is now current and carries the corrected description.

Whatever is easiest on your side — regenerate this PR from #4590, or edit it in place to version: 0.41.4 / download_url: https://github.com/raccioly/docguard/releases/download/v0.41.4/spec-kit-docguard-v0.41.4.zip plus the description from the issue. The only thing that's actually wrong today is the carried-over 27 validators; the real count is 29. No further submissions from me on this — happy to leave it in your hands.
